Meet Steve Thurlow (Managing Director)
- R, E & L Thurlow Limited was formed in 2003, Steve taking over the helm in 2007. He has been involved in horticulture all his working life, learning the trade from the bottom upwards. He was an active member of the IPPS (International Plant Propagation Society) for many years, travelling in Europe attending conferences, visiting Nurseries and learning how plants were grown in different countries. His first 19 years were spent on the production side of the business learning all about propagation, grafting and everything else to do with the growing of plants. For the last 22 years he has been involved in landscaping and also the sales side of the business.
- He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of horticulture which we can pass on to our customers. There are many people who love plants but are not sure which variety would be the most suitable and Steve is able to discuss this with the customer to ensure they get the best plant to suit its environment.
